This product is a broad-spectrum bactericide with specific effect on mycoplasma. It can kill Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Salmonella, proteus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Haemophilus, Pasteurella multocida, Pasteurella haemolyticus, Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus.

This product is the third generation of quinolone antibiotics, also known as ethyl ciprofloxacin. It was approved by FDA on October 4, 1996. It is a special quinolone antibiotic for livestock, poultry and aquatic products. It can bind to gyrase subunit A of bacterial DNA, thus inhibiting the cleavage and connection function of the enzyme, preventing the replication of bacterial DNA and showing antibacterial effect. It has broad-spectrum antibacterial activity and strong permeability. It has strong killing effect on Gram-negative bacteria and good antibacterial effect on Gram-positive bacteria. It has good oral absorption, high and stable blood concentration, and can be widely distributed in tissues. Its metabolite is ciprofloxacin, which still has strong antibacterial effect. The antibacterial activity to almost all pathogenic bacteria of aquatic animals was strong. It is effective for severe infection caused by drug-resistant pathogens and has no cross resistance with other antibiotics.
